Limited Edition Fine Art Giclée Canvas Prints

Our Limited Edition giclée canvas prints are, unless otherwise stated, editions limited to 50 prints. They are produced in Ireland on 400g Hahnemühle Daguerre Canvas. The Hahnemühle company was founded back in 1584, so it is fair to say they are the world leader in their industry.  Daguerre canvas is acid- and lignin-free and meets the most exacting requirements regarding density, colour gamut, colour graduation, image sharpness, and age resistance. Our prints are guaranteed colour-fast for 70 to 100 years and comply with the highest archival standards.  The print comes with a certificate of authenticity and has an embossed seal. We will always be the only official supplier of the prints. Of course, an owner may decide to sell their print in which case a potential buyer may check with us to verify its authenticity.

The prints are supplied as a rolled canvas in a firm plastic tube. If we were to supply them framed, the cost would increase very substantially as would the cost of postage. Your local framing shop will be able to advise on the best frame (aesthetically) for a particular print. We recommend that the canvas is first put onto a stretcher frame, which is an inexpensive inner frame that holds the canvas taut. This is then put inside the main frame. The canvas may also be glued to a backing board, but it is important that your framing shop uses only archive grade tapes and glues.

Your print will require a frame of 51.75cm x 41cm (20″ x 16″) approximately, which, to help you visualise it, equates to what it would be like to frame a sheet of A3 paper (that’s 2 A4s side by side).
